The Vesuvio Piennolo cherry tomato is a tomato variety grown in the southern region of Campania, around Mount Vesuvius. They owe their intense flavor to the mineral-rich, volcanic soil and the scant water used in their cultivation. This is one of the oldest and most typical varieties grown in the region. This Piennolo del Vesuvio PDO Tomato Preserve has a unique and intense flavor with a full-bodied consistency. These tomatoes give character to both meat and fish dishes but are also excellent for the preparation of the famous “scarpariello” and bruschetta.

Italianavera is an entrepreneurial, female-owned company in the San Marzano DOP area. Inspired by her childhood in the San Marzano region, owner Diana Attianese's goal was to bring the homemade tomato sauces from her youth to the rest of the world. She continues her family’s passion and tradition with San Marzano tomatoes and more authentic local varieties of tomatoes by combining fresh, pure flavors and gorgeous packaging.
