Meet the 'Modena Sparkler'

Non-alcoholic doesn't have to mean boring.

In Italy, flavor is non-negotiable. We’ve created a refreshing, sophisticated mocktail that balances the crisp effervescence of our sparkling water with the deep, complex tartness of aged balsamic. It’s an aperitivo that wakes up the palate without the alcohol.

The Modena Sparkler

A sophisticated, savory-sweet refresher.

Ingredients

6 oz Zia Pia Light Sparkling Water (Chilled)

1 tsp Balsamic Glaze by Gocce Italiane

3-4 Fresh Blackberries or a slice of Blood Orange

Ice (large cubes preferred)

Garnish: A sprig of fresh Rosemary

Instructions

Muddle: In the bottom of a glass, gently muddle the blackberries with the Balsamic Glaze to release the juices.

Ice: Fill the glass to the brim with ice.

Sparkle: Pour the Zia Pia Light Sparkling Water slowly over the ice. The carbonation will lift the balsamic notes through the drink.

Stir: Give it a gentle stir with a long spoon.

Garnish: Slap the rosemary sprig against your hand to release the oils and place it in the glass.

Why it works: The acidity of the balsamic mimics the bite of alcohol, while the light minerality of the water keeps it refreshing.
